The Center of Excellence in Energy Efficiency (C3E) is one of a kind: it is the only fund specifically dedicated to the commercialization of innovations in energy efficiency of transportation in Canada. It provides a unique funding tool suited to high-risk ventures thus promoting the business maturity and subsequent rounds of financing. It participates in the creation of wealth in our territory, especially jobs and business opportunities for local businessesin international markets.

Founded by Rio Tinto Alcan and Hydro-Québec in 2009, the C3E is a non-profit organization that aims to contribute to the commercial success of technological innovations in the field of energy efficiency of transportation.
